Welcome to the Surrey Governors' Association Website

NGA Summer Conference
SGA Exec Member and NGA Board Member, Doris Neville-Davies attended the NGA/QCA Summer conference in Wolverhampton on the curriculum. The theme was built around making the curriculum more creative. A report from the NGA chairman, Judith Bennett, is in our News Pages.
Doris says, " I spent some time talking to Mark Chater, who was previously a teacher and an adviser before joining QCA. He mentioned a paper on the QCA website about 30 ways a GB can get more involved in the curriculum. I found this very useful. Mark was very interested to pick governors' brains and find out what their views were on the curriculum."
A copy of the QCA paper is available on our News pages for download.
