The final report from the Primary Review was published on October 15th.
Neither the Government nor the Opposition was prepared to act on the recommendations, particularly that formal education should begin at 6.

TDA - The Training & Development Agency for Schools
The TDA works with schools to develop the workforce and ensure that schools can recruit good-quality, well-trained people. There is an excellent page for School Improvement Planning Framework, developed by the TDA.
Surrey Schools Bulletin Service Contents
Circulated weekly by e-mail, the Surrey Schools Bulleting Service usually has items of interest to governors.
Surrey School Support Services (Four S)
4S provides support services to schools including Inspection; Governor support; Commissioning/contract management; Financial consultancy; Personnel; Technology support (learning). Governors must register for a password to reach some parts of the site.
